TRANSPORTATION
Bus service to Myrtle Beach, Conway, and other destinations
is conveniently available on Route 501. Reduced fares
for seniors are available. In addition, senior shuttles
to shopping, medical appointments, and other destinations
are arranged at your request.
SHOPPING
Grocery and other day-to-day conveniences are located
close to Lakeside Crossing. A Kroger supermarket is
a mile away, and Food Lion a half-mile further.
The new Coastal Grande Mall is six miles from
Lakeside Crossing. When completed, this will be the
largest mall in the Myrtle Beach area. A 14-screen theater
is also part of this shopping complex.
Colonial Mall on the north end of Myrtle Beach,
The Hammock Shops Complex in Pawley's Island,
and Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet are other
nearby shopping and entertainment choices.
The Myrtle Beach Factory Store on Route 501
has more than 100 stores and a food court. The Tanger
Outlet Center houses 75 stores. Waccamaw Factory
Shoppes, also on Route 501, offers three separate
malls and a food court. Other favorite shopping venues
include mega-attraction destinations Broadway at
the Beach and Barefoot Landing.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Coastal Carolina University and Horry Georgetown Technical
College are two miles from Lakeside Crossing.
MEDICAL CENTERS AND HOSPITALS
Conway Hospital is just a mile and a half from Lakeside
Crossing. The Grand Strand Regional Medical Center is
thirteen miles away. In addition, other medical professionals
